Transmission results for hepatitis B, contact with blood or body fluids containing blood. Possible forms of transmission include (but are not limited to sex) unprotected contact, blood transfusion, reuse of needles and syringes, and vertical transmission from mother to child during birth. Without intervention, giving a mother who is positive for surface antigen of hepatitis B, a 20% risk of transmission of infection to their children at birth. This risk is as high as 90% if the mother is also positive for e antigen of hepatitis B. HBV can be transmitted within the household among family members who may come into contact with the skin or mucous membrane with secretions or saliva with HBV. [17] [18]] However, at least 30% of reported cases of hepatitis B in adults are not associated with the identification of risk factors [19 combined.

The main form of transmission reflects the prevalence of chronic HBV infection caused by a certain field. In areas with low prevalence, since the continental United States and Western Europe, where less than 2% of thePopulation are chronically infected, injection drug use and unprotected sex are the most important methods, but other factors may be important. [20] In areas of average prevalence, especially in Eastern Europe, Russia and Japan, where 2.7% of the population are chronically infected, the disease is spread mainly in children. In areas with high prevalence such as China and Southeast Asia, transmission during childbirth is most common, but also in other areas of high endemicity such as Africa, transmission during childhood is an important factor. [21] The prevalence of chronic HBV infection in areas with high endemic is at least 8
