Ontario Tax Used Boat To Which Province Should I Pay Sales Tax On Used Vehicle?

To Which Province Should I Pay Sales Tax on Used Vehicle? - ontario tax used boat

I am a resident of Quebec, and you buy a used vehicle in Ontario for a private (no concession). I have to pay PST for Ontario and Quebec QST?

You pay taxes to the province where the vehicle is registered in your name. The seller offers a contract for the sale, in addition to ownership (pink slip), then execute the office of provincial licenses and approvals. That's how it works in Ontario, and I think the same is true in Quebec.

You will pay in Quebec, if you register at the SAAQ.

You did not accept the safety of Quebec, in fact, the provincial safety features.
